Our assignment was for us to find or create a certain them within a series of photos. I thought of the idea of the sunset because the sun moves throughout the day. Mr. Perry recommended that I should take pictures of the camera man taking pictures of the sunset to give a better sense of story in the photo-essay. I had this great idea of my lead photo being the camera man holding the camera with the tripod stand in the background. This photo showed exactly what I want to capture, the idea of a cameraman taking pictures of the sunset which you can tell by the color of the sky. The rule of thirds is implied especially in this photo because the tripod in the background fits it perfectly. Your eye moves towards the Canon logo on the camera strap contrasting with the white shorts. Over this image is very appealing due to the color combinations of the white and the tan sunlight, the rule of thirds applied very nicely, and the very detailed depth of field this image provides.
